Brain Quest: Questions and Answers

Though designed for 4th graders, some of the questions are easy and some are not. Yet even if you guess wrong, Alzheimer's patients enjoy answering the questions and competing with one another. But to everyone’s surprise, many of the questions will be answered correctly. (Answers are included!)
I have personally watched as Alzheimer's daycare groups joyfully compete to answer these questions. Admittedly, many of the answers were guesses, including my own. But you cannot help but notice that some of the participants loudly shout out the answers while others, at first, say nothing, then softly answer, and then tell their friends the answers to shout out loud. Some things are not just for children! (Mark Warner)
Examples of the questions:
- In Irish folklore, is a leprechaun a little man or a little woman?
- Find the French word for “friend”: ami, amigo or amico.
- Which is a synonym of “polished”: smooth or uneven?
Product Features:
- Two decks of cards, totaling 148, each with 10 questions per side (a total of approximately 1500 questions and answers).
- Originally designed for children 9 - 10 years old.
What we like best about this product: The questions on these cards are both challenging and enjoyable, much like playing along with Jeopardy on TV.
