Grip and Lift Transfer Belt

The Grip ‘n Lift Transfer Belt is more than a gait belt. It is specially designed to assist a caregiver guiding or lifting a patient to their feet – from a chair, bed, floor, car seat or bathtub. 

 

For those who need limited help, the Grip ‘n Lift can be worn by the patient, allowing the caregiver to grasp and, using their own weight and center of gravity, lean back to safely and effectively pull the patient to their feet. When more help is needed, the caregiver can wear the belt around him/herself. While supporting themself on the arms or back of the chair (or bed) the patient can then assist by pulling him or herself up.

 

And it is a gait belt. Use the Grip ‘n Lift to guide, redirect or assist a loved one getting into or out of the car, walking outside or en route to a given location.  The handles offer a subtle and easy tool to prevent wrong turns, collisions or avoid trips over unexpected changes in floor materials, thresholds or elevations.
