Through Our Eyes is a documentary film created by The Scottish Dementia Working Group, a group of people, each with an Alzheimer’s diagnosis, showing that a dementia diagnosis is not the end of the world. They demonstrate that despite their diagnosis, people with dementia continue to have potentials that need to be realized, want to be treated with respect, the emotional impact of this disease, and how one can successfully fight the ravages of this disease. This is an incredible, worthwhile film for people receiving a dementia diagnosis, family members and especially healthcare professionals. (44 minutes)
