Handyman Activity Lock Box

It can be difficult finding the perfect tinker toy for the senior in your life. We recommend getting something familiar to their lifestyle so they can make a real connection and get the most stimulation possible from their fiddle toys. If you are looking for something for an older man who was known to make himself handy around the house or did that type of work professionally, the Handyman’s Box will be the perfect gift. This handmade, wooden tool box will give them the familiar feeling of working with unfinished wood and it is completed with interesting doors, locks, latches, hasps, and knobs. You can hide things in different compartments within this box to make it a challenging adult puzzle, or simply use it as a toy to fiddle with in order to keep the senses engaged.

The Handyman's Box is a unique fiddle toy and activity product that quickly becomes a source of pride, fascination and fun. This superbly handmade, hardwood lock box has doors that open and close, each with a different lock, hasp or latch requiring different skills to open in order to keep things interesting. Light weight with an easy grip handle, The Handyman's Box is an award-winning tinker toy for adults that will provide hours of entertainment.

Good activity August 14, 2015
Reviewer: Cathy M. from Cincinnati, OH United States
My father with AD was an engineer and later into his disease was unfortunately always taking something apart (electric shavers, doorbell, door knobs, etc.)  When we moved him to assisted living memory care, he needed something to occupy his hands, and this worked very nicely.  We hid treats (cookies, popcorn, chocolate) inside the cubbies.  Dad recently passed away and now my 3 year old nephew plays with and loves it.

Handyman Box Terrific May 11, 2015
Reviewer: Jean Sibery from Palm Beach Gardens, FL United States
Just what every man needs to boost self esteem.  Each time he works all the latches he says "I'm a genius"! He loves to find the different little treats or toys, or love notes hidden inside the openings...great idea...
