He could take his own medications when the alarm rang. It gave him his independence back for taking his medications.  Just ordered a second one for my sister-in-law.

The alarm has awakened her so she can keep to a schedule and I finally feel we are making progress. I only wish the top and bottom had some sort of handle to make it easier to lock and unlock into place. That would be the only thing I could say doesn't make this a 5 star.

I'm hoping the individual I purchased it for will give this a chance. Calling 2 times a day doesn't always work out. We shall see. Although the set up for arranging pills isn't as straightforward as the $800.00 dispenser purchased for another individual. The price of this one makes up for it.
