Heaven Sent senior phone with gps September 14, 2023 Reviewer: Carlette Hairston from Mt Holly, NC United States   My grandmother was recently diagnosed with early stage dementia. To find this phone was amazing. The set up was easy and for her to be able to call her children and grandchildren is still dear to her. I can't express the gratitude enough for the availability of this phone. A hundred times over , it's worth every penny.

Great phone idea for Seniors September 6, 2023 Reviewer: Edward Wright from Denver, CO United States   I love the phone for my dad who is 90 years old. So far it is working pretty good for him with one exception.!  When laying the phone down on occasion, it automatically Dials a contact!  It happened to me as his caregiver when I laid his phone down on his bedside table and suddenly realized it was calling my granddaughter!  He has unintentionally dialed her number on two other different occasions as well as a different contact..  the only other concern I have is the fact that it is a strictly call and receive call phone, but voicemail messages seem to be available for people who are reaching out to him.  Of course, he has no way of knowing or seeing a voicemail..  it would help for the person calling to not experience the option to leave a voicemail that will never be heard. <br> <br> "Hello. A great experience from start to finish! August 28, 2023 Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Edmonds, WA United States   I was so impressed with this memory phone after searching everywhere for a simple phone for my father when his prior Smartphone became too difficult to use and began to cause social isolation from friends and family.  After purchase I received prompt emails with well explained instructions about how to activate the phone.  The phone arrived in 3 days, was easy to set up, and my father now is able to call those close to him and feel confident about using his phone. The RAZ caregiver app is straightforward and easy for me to use to manage his preferences and settings, and the changes take effect immediately on his phone.

Just what I needed for my 96 yr old Father-in-Law! August 24, 2023 Reviewer: De Anna from South Jordan, UT United States   My father-in-law, who has dementia, has been angry that he hasn't had a phone after moving into an assisted living home, but I've had serious reservations about allowing him to call anyone at any time, and especially strangers/spam/scammers calling him.  After much research, I found the Raz phone, which isn't like any other senior appropriate phone. I was able to do all of the settings in the caregiver's app on my phone before it even arrived.  I had some questions about some of the settings and contacted customer service through text and got a quick reply.  This phone is perfect for our needs, and he has been happy with it too.   I highly recommend this phone to anyone who has a loved one with memory issues.  I also recommend the charging pad rather than having to plug it in with a cord.

This phone is so well-designed for those who are unable to navigate a regular cell phone. The only glitch I found came when I went with Mint Mobile for the data plan. The Mint Mobile SIM card came with the phone so I decided to use them. The interface with the mint Mobile app is based on the ability to get a code sent to you for security purposes, but the code then goes to the Alzheimer's phone number. I needed it to come to my phone number. And there was no way to change that. That isn't a glitch on your end, it is a glitch at Mint Mobile. So perhaps don't send the SIM cards with the phones. <br> <br> "Hello. We have looked into the scenario and have been told that a code will only need to be sent to the RAZ phone if the phone becomes deactivated. This is the first time we have heard of the situation. Cell phone August 7, 2023 Reviewer: Linda Bosford from Middleburg, FL United States   Oh my what a relief to have this phone. I hesitated due to cost. Don't! Mom has been scammed (making a health insurance change that was not for the better). She used to manage to get to settings and turn 9ff the contacts only and then frustrated that she didnt answer the 100+ sales/scam calls a day! Now caregiver has control of settings and only family contacts are on phone.. Calling family members is as simple as tap and hold the picture! A large green box comes up to answer and red to decline a call. Our obstacle is the switch from swiping to tap and hold. She would do the swipe so quickly and lightly she could never answer! The GPS helps me to know if when she attends the senior center where she is or if she even took her phone with her. Happy to get 3 months mint mobile free with purchase.
