Tool Shopping Game

Competency-based training improves dementia care by focusing on mastery of tasks and tools that are learned. It empowers learners to achieve valuable skills, knowledge and learn by practicing.

Tools are something we are all familiar with and working with them can bring back satisfying memories especially for the guys. This game was created to bring back those familiar reminders and also encourage those with dementia to engage in conversation.

My Dad used to be very handy and loved working with his tools. He thoroughly enjoyed playing this game. If took him back to the days when he was busy in his workshop making things. Great product!

My husband has moderate Alzheimer's and does really well with this game. Every time he plays, he matches the tools a bit faster. This is win to me!

We haven't used this game yet, but the quality of the dry erase cards is great. Clear, easy to see images for each.
