The Alzheimer's Store is an organization devoted to the research and development of products that assist the Alzheimer's, dementia and memory loss communities. We strive to assist caregivers by supplying products to people with these cognitive impairments to ease their frustration while providing the caregivers with the tools to manage their daily lives.
The Alzheimer's Store is dedicated to this special needs community. Philanthropy is a consistent part of our philosophy. We exercise our values to enhance the quality of life for these patients and ask that our clients (caregivers, facilities and caregiver agencies) do the same. We do not re-sell opened or used products, but rather donate them to Alzheimer's causes and ask those who are no longer in need of the product to do so as well.
We are partnering with CaringKind ( caringkindnyc.org) to bring awareness to the special needs of this ever growing population and will be donating a portion of the proceeds of every sale made through CaringKind's website to their organization to help further their mission – they are truly the heart of Alzheimer's caring.
One of our most popular product categories is Music Therapy; a known program for fostering old memories and emotions bringing an Alzheimer's patient's condition back to a higher level of activity. The Alzheimer's Store is part of a design and distribution team of exclusive Music Therapy products.
Both the music player and Blaney bear contain an MP3 player that can accept downloads from any computer and store over 1,000 songs or multiple books or even verses from the Bible.
Products are designed for easy use by those afflicted with dementia.
