Great for Seniors Wednesday, September 9, 2026 Reviewer: SaM from Centreville, VA United States   This product is greqat for seniors with reduced  sight to help them view five of their favorite TV channels. One recommendation, however, would be to have the numbers 1 thru 5 go in the same direction as a clock to make it even easier for sight-impaired individuals.

Finally worked! Friday, June 30, 2023 Reviewer: CG from Paris, MO United States   Had a hard time getting the correct TV code and reached out to customer support. After several email exchanges finally got a code to work. Instructions were easy to follow. Programmed all 5 favorite channels and then put the same ones in again for channels 6 thru 10. Now no matter if dad presses the numbers or channel up and down he only has his 5 favorite channels. Mission accomplished. Have an LG TV and Spectrum cable box.

Getting it to work with my dad's tv has been a challenge. I followed the programming instructions and was successful with matching it to the tv so the on/off and volume works. But for the channels to work, I need the remote to pair with the cable box. I couldn't get that to work even though I followed all the directions. I called twice for customer support and got an answering machine both times. I never got a call back. <br> <br> "Hi Beth. There are thousands of brands of TVs and cable boxes so it can sometimes be a challenge. Be sure your cable box can use an IR remote and not just a Bluetooth remote as mentioned on the product page. I purchased this SMPL remote for him which he uses and now he watches tv with no issues.
