How did I live without this?? June 30, 2025 Reviewer: Durelle Linton from Athens, TN United States   I was having trouble sleeping, thinking my wonderful but cagey stage-6 husband might get out of the house in the middle of the night. After this lock was installed, and I know he was safe indoors, I could finally get a good night's sleep! When I first received the lock, I was afraid I wouldn't be able to use it because it seemed complicated. But once it was installed, I realized it would only be complicated for HIM, but not for me. This is a great well-made product that I wouldn't hesitate to buy if I hade a wanderer. Small enough to be discreet, strong enough to actually work! Bravo!

Only recently has she started “escaping” from the house. I bought a confound lock for the front door. The purchase / checkout process was very very easy. The product immediately shipped and the tracking information was spot on the entire way. The lock was very easy and straightforward to install, the color blends right in to our current door frame. It's very easy to manipulate and Very effective in keeping her from opening the door. I am very impressed with every aspect of dealing with The Alzheimer's Store, in fact I have already ordered a second lock. The biggest thing I am most appreciative of is this site has quality, reasonably priced items that are beneficial and helpful to caregivers dealing with long term Alzheimer's. Confounding Lock gives us the security we all need November 5, 2024 Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Las Cruces, NM United States   These confounding locks are perfect for the added security we need now that our loved one has Alzheimer's. He is unable to open the door and wander off. They were easy for our handyman to install. I changed my mind on the color for one of the doors and customer service made it an easy process to exchange them.

These work great! October 24, 2024 Reviewer: Susan from LAS CRUCES, NM United States   I really like that these come in 4 colors because we have different color doors and trim. Our handyman installed them easily. They are a real lifesaver.. to help keep our loved one from wandering away. I was able to easily exchange one color for another, the process was simple. I'm so happy to have found the Alzheimer's Store and I'm sure I'll be a steady customer!

Easy Installation and Effective October 21, 2024 Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Chesapeake, VA United States   As the only caregiver for a family member (dementia) who has mastered the ability to quietly wander out the door, I installed the Door Guardian for his protection.  It was easy to install and has worked effectively during this sundowners' phase. He was able to defeat motion actuated devices, but he has yet to recognize that the Guardian is in place.  Thank you for providing this peace of mind that allows me to keep him safe at home.
