She knows its a doll and does not want to hold it. So I put the doll   in a "crib"  beside her. She loves to look at it, caress the doll's cheeks and rub its belly. It makes her smile so it was worth it. It was pricey.

She finds so much joy in talking to, holding, and fussing over the baby's clear it takes her back to the days of raising us kids. Watching her interact with it has brought us so much happiness. It's also been a wonderful way to keep her engaged and calm. Rather than fidgeting or becoming anxious in the evenings, especially during her sundowning hours, she now has a comforting focus. This has made a huge difference in her daily routine and overall well-being.
