Moms companion May 30, 2023 Reviewer: Gkem from Oklahoma City, OK United States   We moved our 92 year old mom into Assisted Living this year, she always talks about the old cat she had to have put down due to age and bad health. She is no longer able to take care of a pet so we got MetaCat! She loves it, she realizes it is not real, but she still talks to it and treats it like it is real. I think it is a big help for her loneliness since dad died.

Mom loves it February 28, 2023 Reviewer: Bruce Danback from Peekskill, NY United States   My mom loves her little cat, I have to say there's not much the doctors can do with this terrible illness, which is a shame considering all of our medical accomplishments. This little cat has made such a difference when it comes to calming her down. she pets it, props it up next to her and even sleeps with it at times. great purchase.

DEMENTIA January 19, 2023 Reviewer: Jane Loader from FORDINGBRIDGE, Hampshire England   I was worried that Mum might be against having a cat….having always had dogs I knew she wouldn't accept a robotic dog.  I left the cat in my kitchen and she immediately picked up on him!  I asked her if she's like to take him to her room and it has been warmly welcomed and enjoyed. I can't tell you what a success it has been.  If we go out she is thinking of him, and looks forward to getting home, she asked me "did you think I was lonely" - I answered "well yes" she said, "Well I wont be anymore". So anyone thinking of getting a loved one with Alzheimer's or Dementia a robotic pet, and wondering if it will be worth all that money, my answer would be YES!  Especially if introduced in a subtle and caring way.   My parcel had a long journey and extra tax to pay, when it arrive I couldn't get it to work, but new batteries were all that was needed, it seems he had been me-owing all the way over the big pond! <br> <br> "We are so happy to hear that your Mum loves the robotic cat and we are happy to hear that it was gently introduced to her. Amazing gift! January 3, 2023 Reviewer: Maria F. from St. Petersburg , FL United States   I never thought my mother would love this as much as she does!  She lost her cat six months ago and her new assisted living facility does not allow pets.  She adores this cat and carries it from room to room with her!  It has increased her happiness and calmed her anxiety.  I only wish I had bought it sooner!

He takes it with him every where he goes. My sister seen it in my house and she wants to get one for her grand kid too.  I received it within two days.

metacat November 8, 2022 Reviewer: G Harris from USA   Looks so realistic!!! The cat is adorable, she comes with a lint roller and a comb. Her purrs are so realistic. This is the perfect cat for if you are allergic or don't have the time / space for a real cat. I was really impressed by the feel of the body, it's squishy like a real cat and is cat shaped under the fur! Very happy :)
