This little device arrived quickly and it was easy to set up. We use the secret pin option and attach it to moms pajamas or sweaters depending on day or night. We might get a second one just in case.

Our family needed a way to track the location of our father in law without him knowing. We pin the little unit onto his back waistband. He has not wandered off since we got it, but we can see his location from our phones!

So happy I found this product for my dad. He loves his daily walk in the community but doesn't always remember his cell phone. He always wares TackGPS with the lanyard or clothes pin. So, my mom and I can both see his location and received notifications if he wanders out of the community or has a fall. And when he does we can see where he is and shift to "emergency mode" and get 1-minute updates. I have looked at other fall detection products and their monthly service was very expensive and battery life only 1-2 days. TackGPS's plans are affordable, the device is small and battery life is terrific.

I purchased this product for my elderly mom, who has not yet been diagnosed with dementia yet but can be forgetful and get disoriented. Not only has the TackGPS given me the peace of mind to find her if she has not arrived as planned but I love the geofencing technology that allows me to receive alerts when she leaves or returns to her house. The fall detection function has already proved invaluable. I received the automated notification that mom had fallen, and when I wasn't able to reach her by phone, I confirmed her location and went to see if she was OK. Thankfully everything was OK this time! Other things I love about TackGPS is that it only has to be charged once a month or so, it comes with multiple wearing options (pin to clothing, lanyard or easily fits in a pocket), and the low cost of the device and monthly service!
