I used one of the Please Be Patient Alzheimer's Cards I received at an appointment with my mom last week shortly after receiving my order, and it completely changed our experience. I didn't realize how much I was affected by these situations until using this card and both of us being treated so differently. I think I was also bringing that anxiety to the appointments. I noticed a big increase in patience and understanding from staff that went a long way to keep my mom and myself feeling comfortable and at ease.
